I cannot deactivate the jaw-menu-plugin through the plugin menu. It says it is required. Should I remove the plugin folder from the directory? Will that result in deactivating it?

That hides the footer, but not the header, navigation in the header, nor does it hide the product widget area (which I know I didn't specify earlier). How do I remove all of that and just have the landing page info displayed?

Well, that didn't quite work. It removed the "add to cart" text and "select options" text" and made it so you have to select the image in order to go to that product's page.
