background image / pattern problem

Hello,I have a problem with changing background image or pattern.After i have changed folder rights i can upload a new background image but this will not appear on the homepage.There are no patterns available, only 1 box and thats red.I have found the topic http://support.jawtemplates.com/discussion/comment/3996#Comment_3996 what made clear what the problem is (i use child theme). But is there already a fix for this?Daniël
