Header/Footer Problem When Updating with Theme Options

I installed the last version of GDN. There seems to be something wrong a bug of sorts with THEME OPTIONS.When I installed 27 News demo both the main navigation and footer changed and not for the good. I then tried with the Men's Mag demo and the same thing happened. See attached.This occurs when trying to add logos, add favicon, add social media links. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and the Main Navigation and Footer are always impacted. To save time, I've included the login information so you can compare my header and footer verses yours.I HAVE NAMED THE IMAGES ACCORDINGLY:
