WMPL Strings breaks permalinks

I have translated my theme. Everything works great. I have to use WPML String Translation for some words on my site.
When I have the WPML String Translation plugin activated. The translation works great. Problem is that it translates the permalinks and breaks all links on the site.
When I deactivate the plugin WPML String Translation and saves the permalinks. The links works but not the translation.
Any solution for this or is it a third party support question?
