JaW Templates Support Forum

My team and I have been debating whether this is an issue, just a request or something else, and whether it should be posted with JaW Templates or with the plugin in question.  We have agreed it is a request and better be made through Goodstore support since it relates to theme and it may help others working with the top-menu-bar  - although, please let us know if innapropriate.

We have been looking at installing a currency widget or switcher and found the most approriate one -> Currency Switcher for WooCommerce Version 1.1.4 | By realmag777.  It has a shortcode and seems to work well as a widget, but we would like to place it in the top-bar between our email link and the MyAccount text.  The author has responded with it should work placed in your header, but we dont want to just place it in our header but the the blue top-bar.

We have tried adding their shortcode

<?php echo do_shortcode('[woocs]'); ?>

to the /home/VGJ /public_html/wp-content/themes/goodstore/templates/header/top-bar-1.php
and it successfully appears but is not in position.  We have also created a php file in
/home/VGC/public_html/wp-content/themes/goodstore/templates/header/top_bar/currency_switcher.php
with the shortcode in there but that dont work either

Must it be placed in a particular position or in a diiferent file?  As you can see we are not experts but dont mind experimenting.
